2010
The Fifth Annual GIPPY's took place on Tuesday,
February 15. Thanks to everyone who joined us for this
celebration of Creation care in Georgia. We had a great turnout and
enjoyed seeing you all, meeting lots of new people, and hearing about
how your congregations have promoted creation care over the past year.
In case you were not able to join us last
night, here are the congregations that took home trophies:

huge success!!! Angela Speir-Phelps gave an inspiring keynote address
and call to action, and Antioch Baptist Church North was honored for
their work in initiating the low-income light-bulb swap program that
has now been done by several other congregations. And then the time
came for the GIPPYs themselves, as we honored several congregations who
have shown initiative and creativity in incorporating creation care
into the life of their congregations.
