Environmental Forum: Your Health – Your Future

April 11 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

District 4 Council Woman Naeema Gilyard

Councilwoman Naeema Gilyard District 4 City of South Fulton is hosting an environmental forum titled “Your Health – Your Future,” and GIPL is a proud partner for this important discussion! Community leaders from the environmental, religious, and business sectors will gather as a panel to address the environmental stressors citizens of District 4 may be experiencing and how to tackle these concerns.

Environmental stressors impact the natural environment, economy, politics, culture, health, and social services.  Those stressors include air and water pollution, noise and lighting, resulting from warehouses, landfills, planes, trains, and so much more.  “Your Health – Your Future” will help citizens understand the issues so they can play an active role in enacting solutions.  Panelists include:
District 4 Council Woman Naeema Gilyard
Rev. Michael Malcom
Dr. Erica Hollomon
Shadeed Abdul-Salaam, MPH
Monica Robinson, MBA.

GIPL’s Tina Spencer-Smith will moderate.

The forum is free and open to the public.  Questions should be directed to Nakia Romans at nakia.romans@cityofsouthfultonga.gov.
