Emory Pres Home Energy Audit Class, Part II - Wednesday, February 08, 2012

This Home Energy Audit Training Class will be held at Emory Presbyterian Church. This is the second class in a two-part series. The first class is on February 1. Dinner begins at 6 p.m., and the class will last from 6:45 - 7:30 p.m. Dinner costs $6 for adults, $for children. Attending the class is free without dinner.

This class will teach community members how to care for Creation through energy efficiency in their own homes. No prior experience is required to attend this course.

This is a good opportunity for community members to learn about energy efficiency measures that can reduce their energy usage at home and help them save money on utility bills. Attendees will also learn about reducing their carbon footprints and becoming better stewards of creation.

What is the potential for wind energy and job creation in the Southeast? Can recycling create good jobs? How can we finance transportation projects to make our systems more modern and efficient? At Good Jobs, Green Jobs South � February 23 and 24 in Atlanta, GA at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta � we will explore the unique challenges and opportunities to creating good, green jobs in the Southern United States.
